Join the team and help promote the greatest band ever-

 

If you have a desire to help the band find new fans in your area, this is the place to be.

Wherever you live, there is most likely a HIM Street Team operating.  If not, you can build one.  You can contact our team at EastTennHIM@yahoo.com and we will help you find the team in your area.

All you need to qualify is a desire to help the band and a camera.  You will be hanging flyers, posters, and banners, placing stickers in appropriate places, giving out HIM promo hand-to-hand, calling radio stations , DJs and program directors, going into stores and requesting that they stock HIM merch, etc.  There are many ways to promote and you can decide which way you want to go about it. 

There are also plenty of ways to promote the band online.  You can sign up at www.thestreetnetwork.com and view the "crusades" which are the current promotions being worked on.  You can post reviews and comments in blogs and music sites.  We have banners and posters that you can use to post online.  You can also make your own banners and graphics, start your own HIM pages and sites online and have a good time doing it.

The Street Network is sending out promo packs for certain crusades, so sign up. You can print your own promotional materials (such as flyers) if you want.  If you can't get any materials, we will send some to you.  The important thing is to get these materials posted in the best places possible and send your photos of your work to us for submission to the HIM Team.  The guys in the band do keep an eye on the work being done and really are appreciative, so you can feel like you're giving something back to the band that gives us all so much!

In order to be on an Official HIM Street Team such as ours, you must contact your team leader (we can help you locate them) and indicate that you wish to join the team.  Then you must ACTIVELY promote.  Whenever you post a flyer, sticker or other promo material you take a photo with your camera and send it in to your team leader to be included in our submissions to the Official U.S. HIM Street Team.  Your team gets credit for every piece of promo so the more you send, the better.  If you are promoting online, you take a screen shot of each comment, banner post, etc.  If you are posting reviews, you can include the url of the place the review is located.

HIM's new dvd/cd DIGITAL VERSATILE DOOM-Live At The Orpheum Theatre XXXVII A.S. was released on April 29, 2008.  The Street Team is in high gear to promote this release and WE NEED YOU!
